Nhulunbuy Takes THE STAND - Community Grant Program

Applications are now open for the Nhulunbuy Takes THE STAND Community Grants Program.

CatholicCare NT, through the NO MORE Campaign, is offering 10 grants of up to $3,000 to support local organisations to take practical action to prevent domestic and family violence across Nhulunbuy and the Laynhapuy Homelands.

These grants support activities that align with your organisation's Domestic and Family Violence Action Plan (DVAP) and are delivered during either:

  • THE STAND (26 August – 24 November 2026)
  • 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (25 November – 10 December 2026)

Funding can be used for community events, workshops, awareness activities, promotional materials, transport, venue hire, catering and other direct project costs that help create safer communities.

Who can apply?

Applications are open to incorporated organisations, including community organisations, Aboriginal corporations, charities and businesses. Government agencies are not eligible. Organisations must have a Domestic and Family Violence Action Plan (or commit to developing one as part of the grant).
